Have a good day!
I'm going to write a few lines about this plant, hemp. It will only take you about four minutes to learn a little more ^^ 920 words, will that do?

But did you know that this plant has multiple benefits?
This could very well change his image forever, and starting right now!
*Warning: lobbyists won't like this post, just as they didn't like its popularity in the 19th century. That was a time when many events shook up society, leading to its mechanization.
What virtues and qualities does it possess?
What use can it be made of?
What are the advantages of wearing hemp textiles?
Before answering these questions, let me tell you some historical facts that go back a very long time...
Archaeologists in northern China have found textile hemp ropes on pottery fragments dating back to 7500-6100 BC. Similar ropes have also been found among a fishing people of the Yangshao culture (4800-2000 BC).
The University of California has dated a "Spirit Cave" mummy found in North America in 1940 to approximately 9,400 years old. It was sewn with hemp thread and sinew. Each era has perpetuated its uses...
(1098-1179) Hildegard of Bingen cultivated it in her garden. This famous German abbess and naturalist of the Middle Ages wrote a few lines about it in her "Book of the Subtleties of Divine Creatures:"
"Hemp is warm; it grows when the air is neither too hot nor too cold, such is its nature. Its seed contains health and, for healthy people, it constitutes wholesome food; in the stomach, it is light and beneficial because it somewhat reduces the flow of humors, and it can be easily digested."

Here are a few examples that take us back to ancient times...

Closer to our time, hemp was used in shipbuilding. Sails, ropes, cargo bags, and clothing made from hemp textiles were crafted and worn daily. It is still cultivated in France, Brittany, and Northern Europe. Why? Because hemp is renowned for its rot resistance ! In addition to supporting several hundred kilograms, it withstands extreme weather conditions.
What virtues and qualities does it possess?

It is a generous plant and therefore, in my opinion, very fraternal. Its leaves are palmate, like the human hand. A gift from the Creator, it is in the image of man and woman. A male and female plant are distinct. Resilient to water and agricultural treatments, it is self-sufficient and also absorbs CO2. Protective against UV rays, antibacterial, and antiparasitic, it is rot-resistant. Thermoregulating, just like animal fibers (wool and silk).
What use can it be made of?
-Health & CBD
-Cosmetics & Human and Animal Food. -Stationery & Plant and Animal Mulch -Clothing & Accessories
-Automotive, building and sound insulation sectors, very good thermoregulator.
*A creature of Nature, it provides humans with the opportunity to nourish themselves through its protein-rich seeds, which are also the richest in vitamins and minerals B1, B2, PP, B6, and B9. Copper, iron, and a champion in magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, and zinc. Hemp seed oil has a good ratio of omega-3 and omega-6. Its protein content is 58g, more than in a 100g steak, and it contains all the essential amino acids.

What are the advantages of wearing hemp textiles?
The weaving and care of hemp and linen are very similar. Machine wash at 40°C and air dry.
It has antibacterial, antiparasitic, and thermoregulatory properties, making it a competitor to animal wool and silk fibers, in addition to wicking away excess moisture. Its fiber offers excellent protection against the sun's UV rays, which is why it's a popular garment for the summer season.
My personal feelings:
"Sleeping in hemp sheets is like sleeping on a cloud!"
Yes, the feeling of sleeping on a cloud, I've experienced it in dreams and meditation; it's a matter of textures and sensations, I'd say indescribable. (laughs)
You'll soon find my hemp clothing designs and accessories for men and women, as well as home goods. Because yes, today I'm testing out sleeping in hemp sheets for you.
Soon, you'll be able to find them in our online store here!!
Feel free to leave your feedback in the comments if you liked this post, or if you have any suggestions for improvement. This plant still has so much to teach us <3
With respect and the wonder of a child for Mother Nature...
Lys au cœur thanks you for reading :)
If you would like to learn more about them, the "Organic Flax and Hemp" association is full of information on French agriculture.
The flax industry has been self-sufficient in France for several years, while the cultivation of textile hemp and its mechanical harvesting still require logistical adjustments.
