But why is hemp so vilified in Western society, in France?
A creature of nature, it gives humans the opportunity to nourish themselves thanks to these protein-rich seeds with multiple benefits.
To heal oneself, with the CBD molecules in these leaves.
It can be used for clothing or to make ropes from the fibers glued along its rigid stem. Furthermore, it is recycled into "eco-friendly" building materials where it provides sound and thermal insulation, better protecting homes, and it also has applications in the automotive sector...
You will understand why for the last 2 decades it has been demonized by its oil competitor (synthetic fibers) and reduced to a simple use of "drug" with its THC molecules.
Agriculture and its future
The "Organic Flax and Hemp" association is making colossal efforts to encourage manufacturers and the agricultural sector to reintroduce textile and food hemp in France.
For flax, the agricultural and textile sector has been self-sufficient for several years.
Le Chanvre
Quels sont les avantages de porter du chanvre ou du lin ?
Le tissage et l'entretien du chanvre et du lin sont très semblables. Le chanvre est une grande plante verte reconnaissable par son abondante et foisonnante ramure de feuille palmée ( je les vois comme des mains très généreuses !) un pied mal et un pied femelle caractérise cette famille de cannabinacées.
Cultivée en France, elle est une championne de la résilience, en se suffisant à elle-même pour se prémunir des potentielles agressions extérieures. Elle développe des pouvoirs antibactérienne, antiparasitaire, thermorégulatrice et elle nécessite peu d'eau pour grandir, en plus d'être gourmande de CO2.

Le lin est majoritairement cultivé dans le nord de la France, reconnaissable à ses fleurs bleues à 5 pétales. Sa tige peut atteindre1 mt de hauteur, tandis que celle du chanvre peu atteindre les 3 mts ..la fibre textile légère est elle aussi thermorégulant, évacuant l’excès d’humidité. Sa fibre est hautement protectrice de la peau face aux UV du soleil, c'est pourquoi, c'est un vêtement très apprécié pour la saison estival. Comme jadis le chanvre, le lin, la laine étaient les fibres textiles pionnières utilisées par nos ancêtres.
